King Arthur Tarot

I have been interested in stories about King Arthur since I was a child. My great grandmother came to the United States from Wales in 1906. King Arthur is a Welsh folk hero and legendary battle leader from the 6th century. Trying to connect with where my ancestors came from, I eagerly read every short story, book, poem or comic book that I could find about him.

Albrecht Dürer Tarot

From the first time I saw the prints of 16th century German artist Albrecht Dürer, I was smitten with the amount of detail and the manner in which the artist conveyed emotion. I felt that he had been an inspiration for my artwork for over 40 years and it seemed only fitting that I created a tribute to him.

Illuminated Manuscript Tarot

Inspired by my love of illuminated manuscripts and in tribute to the scribes of yore, who worked long hours patiently and devotedly to copy lines of text prior to the invention of the printing press. Illuminated manuscripts were called that because of the use of gilt to make them shine and reflect the light.

Here is a tribute to the Art Deco movement that influenced a lot of architecture in the 1930s in the larger cities. Celebrate the bold patterns, geometric designs, high contrast and gilded details of a tarot deck inspired by the clothing and hair styles of the period. The Deco era has been projected onto traditional tarot deck imagery.

Monthly Oracle Deck Drawing

We will be holding a drawing every month beginning in May, for one lucky winner to receive an Oracle deck of their choice.

There are "Easter Eggs" featured in most, but not all decks — they are not errors, but specific inclusions. Anyone who finds an Easter Egg can email strawberryfieldzLTD@gmail.com and tell me which Easter Egg they found for (1) chance to win the Oracle deck of their choice. They will receive a second (2) entry if they are able to accurately describe the meaning of the Easter Egg.

Alternatively, people may enter by mail and receive (2) entries for sending a postcard or letter identifying any Easter Egg, and will receive a third (+1) entry if they correctly identify the meaning of the Easter Egg.

Drawings will be held on the final day of each month. Winners will be notified by email if they replied by email, or by mail if they responded by mail without an email address.
